Yet another one of Queen's weaker works, but still pretty good with Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Don't Try Suicide, Sail Away Sweet Sister, and of course Another One Bites The Dust.
Does not age
Like any great piece of music, this is a timeless classic that -- in Queen style -- melds so many styles that it cannot be dated. Funk, rockabilly, hard rock, etc. It all merges like it belongs together. It defied expectations in 1980 becoming their most popular US LP, a sure sign of "failure" or "sellout" to self-styled music "purists." For me it scales heights no subsequent Queen LP even attempted to reach.
