  • Outstanding

I loved this whole album. Yes, some may appear over the top, but these are all originals from two people trying to do their best. love the songs, olive the interpretations, love it all!

I notice that this is an often critisized album, but it's not excactly BAD, persay. Sure, it's got some laughably ridiculous songs, such as Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, and none of Shatner's peices are really worth the money, but Nimoy manages to entertain to some degree with his rough-yet-memorable singing voice and smoothly written lyrical rhymes. If anything, it;s a nice (Although not the best sung) collection of recreated folk-songs and folk-inspired original bits, if that sort of thing entertains you.
  • Nimoy's actually pretty good in some.

So, I haven't actually bought the album, but just listening to the preview for Both Sides Now, I have to say that Leonard Nimoy really has a beautiful voice. In another era he could have been one hell of a crooner.
  • Haha!

Ok, this album is SO bad that it's hilarious!
  • Bilbo Rocks

OK this song is as corny as anything I ever heard, but is catchy and fun. And yes Spock can sing! Who knew? You will find yourself singing along with funky music. Trust me.
  • A Very Funny Album if You

In all seriousness, how did the session players get through the recording of this craptastic album without exploding with laughter in every take? Spaced Out fits the 'so bad it's good'line perfectly. If Shatner and Nimoy's intentions were serious, then this is easily one of the top worst albums ever made. If, however, Spaced Out was meant to be funny, then it is one of the best comedy albums out there. 'Highly Illogical' reminds me of Shatner's 'I Can't Get Behind That' from his Has Been album, which by the way actually isn't all that bad (music by Ben Folds).
  • You have got to be pulling my leg!

Ok, I love Star Trek, and will forever, but these good thing these guys didn't try to make a career in music! It's worth buying just for laughs, though :)
  • Why?

Um, I love Star Trek and all, but what is this? I'm slightly creeped out by this album.
  • William Shatner butchering the Beatles

By Bob Dylan can't sing at all
Is it ever possible for anyone to sound so bad? I mean, come on, America. In "Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds", he sounds ANGRY. ANGRY!!!! Nobody should sound angry unless you're....well, nevermind. I won't finish that because who knows who will read this. If you're a Trekkie too bad. GET A LIFE. WE ALL KNOW THAT THE ENTERPRISE EVENTUALLY GOES TO THE 2ND GENERATION AND WILLIAM SHATNER KICKS THE BUCKET. Who writes a song about space girls going by or Bilbo Baggins of all things. 'Bilbo (Bilbo!) Bilbo (Bilbo Baggins!)'. I was ready to pull out the revolver again. They really do walk the line. If I Was A Carpenter??? WHAT IS UP WITH THE SHAKESPEARE OBSESSION PEOPLE? King Henry the Fifth? THE HAMMER SONG? Can't you tell William Shatner's just talking the entire time? WHY? Dear God.
