It’s been a long time since writing a review, and an even longer time since I’ve bought an entire album. Here I am doing both because Lenny and his new album are worth my time and money. If you like Lenny you’ll love the album.

I dug parts of Baptism, but after that, it was hit or miss. But in this album, Lenny charts new directions for himself in terms of song structure, and Low and Ride will show that. Who Really Are the Monsters and Raise Vibration is classic Lenny. There are some songs that will be growers, and that's cool. As for the fools who came here for trolling, your ignorance speaks loud and clear. Lenny has always been about what you are telling him to stop doing. Just goes to show that not everybody should be able to write a review and that iTunes needs to have some standards.

I absolutely love this album every song on it is sooo good. I love how Lenny pays tribute to Prince, Michael Jackson, and Johnny Cash. Everyone is just hating on it because he’s actually speaking the truth and they all need to open there eyes and see that what Lenny is saying is true.

It has been a long time since I bought an entire album. I was nostalgic for the days of buying an album for one track and going on an unexpected ride with the artist. I heard “Low” and decided that Lenny’s a solid bet to deliver an album with hidden gems and songs I’d learn to love. I’ll stay positive and say there are inspired moments that grabbed me at once. There are songs that will grow on me and a few will be deleted from my library right away. I gave the album three stars because it would be misleading to rate this work based on a single track.

I have to admit, I’m a some-timey Kravitz fan, can’t usually do a whole album in one sitting, but this one was great all the way through! Those reviewers complaining about mixing politics in are just complaining to complain as his message is so universal and generic, more or less his thoughts as he looks at the world than a call to arms, that to complain he has no right to say how he feels is stupid.... I like every song and his diversity- funk, rock, soul, folk.... and creative flourishes grabbed my attention at each turn and I was never bored! The MJ vocals added are nicely done and do not detract from the song at all, but enhance it... not sure I would’ve noticed it was for sure him had the iTunes write up not mentioned it... the comparison to Prince & The Revolution missed the mark for me, I hear the Sign Of The Times / Lovesexy Tours era backing band myself, but way more is going on on that track than Prince, that’s for sure! Great album, well done, but I wish the explicit track had a clean version available....
