Look I'm not going to be optimistic about this album because I waited a long time for it ok. Before Encore I had the utter most respect for Snake. He was just a guy with a sound I wish I had, making another great song after the last, the perfect artist, but then this happened. I'll start with Sahara, well its cool I guess, the lead melody is annoying but at least Snake lowered the volume on it or someone did so thats good. Pigalle, this song definitely has that Dj Snake vibe but I'd rather listen to dentist tools drilling my teeth than this unimpressive rave tune. Ocho Cinco, unexpecting, hard hitting, and unoriginal. The trap sequence and bass saved it so at least it doesn't sound horrible. The Half, this song is a mixture of unoriginality and originality, the half
definitely feels more half than full that's for sure. Oh Me Oh My and 4 life, Oh Me Oh My is the worst song on this album, its unoriginal, tacky, and sounds like everything else (as far as rap goes) and so is 4 life, this one does have that type of Dj Snake vibe as well, but its still very unsatisfying in every way to listen to, and of course the one we've all been waiting for: Let Me Love You. This was the slimiest musical marketing decision I think Iv'e ever seen, Its generic. I mean really out of all the talented singers in the world and on the rest of this album, you had to pick the one that can sell tons of records overnight because you thought it sounded better, I don't think so, he wanted to sell records which is fine, but if your going to attempt to sellout on numerous tracks at least do something crazy, do something mind blowing. Snake definitely had some original pieces on here like Sober ft. JRY, Future Pt. 2 ft. Bipolar Sunshine, and Here come the night ft. Mr Hudson. (excluding Intro A86, Middle, Talk, and Propaganda), but I was just a little disappointed because to me this album is mostly over produced, and normal. I wish Snake the best of luck with his career. Every song on this album is awesome ok, but I wish the fans woke up and realized what there listening to.
